Minimum wage rise

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) will rise on October 1st and all clubs must ensure that all employees including doormen are paid it. Most clubs pay the rate as recommended by CORCA-NJIC and will therefore be upgrading their staff in line with the recommendations from CORCA-NJIC on October 1st.

We have been requrested to see if workers over the age of 65 still qualify for the NMW. If you are employing workers over this age, then you must still continue to pay them the NMW, there is no upper age limit bar on paying the NMW, clubs should be aware of this.
